Abstract: Innovations in vocational training for emerging technologies such as AI and IoT are essential for preparing students for future job markets. This study examines how vocational training programs are adapting to teach emerging technologies and the impact of these innovations on student outcomes. The objectives are: (1) to identify effective teaching methods for emerging technologies, (2) to assess student performance and engagement in these programs, and (3) to evaluate the readiness of educators to teach emerging technologies. A survey research design is employed, justified by the need to gather detailed feedback from students, educators, and industry professionals. The sample size includes 300 participants selected through purposive sampling. The case study focuses on vocational institutions in Lagos State, known for their focus on technology education. Findings revealed that hands-on projects, industry collaborations, and up-to-date curricula were effective in teaching emerging technologies. However, gaps in educator training and resource availability were identified. Recommendations included increasing investment in educator training, enhancing industry partnerships for practical training, and continuously updating curricula to reflect technological advancements.
